New Brunswick lawyers appointed to King’s counsel

Twelve New Brunswick lawyers have been appointed to the King’s counsel.

•           Jill Knee, Saint John

•           Caroline Lafontaine, Fredericton

•           Stéphanie Luce, Moncton

•           Duane McAfee, Saint John

•           Josie Marks, Moncton

•           Alison Ménard, Champdoré (Saint-Antoine district)

•           Charles Murray, Fredericton

•           Jade Spalding, Fredericton

•           Maurice Richard, Moncton

•           Erik Roy, Bathurst

•           Denis Thériault, Fredericton

•           Kevin Toner, Fredericton

King’s counsel is an honorary designation for lawyers who have demonstrated outstanding practice and made a commitment to their profession and community.

Appointees must be members of the Law Society of New Brunswick and have at least 15 years of experience in the practice of law.

A swearing-in will take place on December 16, at the legislative assembly in Fredericton.
