We could see more teams in the Professional Women’s Hockey League.
Speaking on ESPN, vice-president of business operations Amy Scheer says the league is preparing to expand to two more cities as early as 2025.
Right now there are six teams, each received a new name for the upcoming season.
The PWHL’s inaugural season saw Minnesota defeat Boston for the Walter Cup.
The new season begins next month.
The countdown to Season Two is ON❗
