Gas, diesel prices down across N.B.

You will be paying a bit less at the fuel pumps in New Brunswick as of Friday.

Regular self-serve gasoline fell by two cents overnight to a new maximum of $1.60 per litre.

The most you will now pay for diesel is $1.72 per litre, a drop of just over two cents.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

Meanwhile, the price of heating oil dropped by nearly 2.5 cents to $1.43 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.55 to $1.60 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.67 and $1.71 per litre.

OnĀ Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.63 per litre, diesel costs around $1.77 per litre and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.20 per litre.
