A public complaint has led to the arrest of an alleged impaired driver in Fort Frances, according to Ontario Provincial Police.

OPP said they received a call Tuesday evening about an impaired driver leaving a licensed establishment in the community.

Police said an officer stopped the vehicle and noticed signs of intoxication from the driver.

A 46-year-old from Sleeman is charged with impaired operation and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

They had their licence suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for seven days.
