Snowmobile trails should be nice and groomed this winter.
The province says two groups in Inverness County are getting funding for equipment to maintain local trails.
The Ceilidh Trails Groomers Association will get $300,000 to purchase a new snow groomer machine.
The Margaree Highlanders Snowmobile Club with get $400,000 for a snow groomer to be used to maintain trails in and around Inverness.
MLA Allan MacMaster says snowmobiling in Nova Scotia generates about $60 million every year.
“This investment builds on the thousands of volunteer hours given each year to keep the trails in top condition.”
