Two members of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs hockey club marketing team have resigned.

Hope Murdick and Kevin Raine joined the club last year.

The club says both had a positive impact on the many aspects, including branding, coaching, social media and sponsorship.

“Part of the beauty of a community-driven team is that we must always remember that, for the most part, our involvement in it is a hobby, not a vocation,” states Mike Sveinson, team president.

“When there becomes an imbalance in that relationship, we respect and insist that people need to recalibrate their priorities.”

No specific reason was given for their departure.
