An open invitation to Chamber of Commerce members and businesses in Downtown St. Stephen.

Canada 1st Basketball Inc., (C1BI) a non-profit organization is having an open house at the Worlds Oldest Basketball Court on St.Stephen’s King Street on Thursday, October 17th at 6:30 P.M.

President Richard Fulton emphasized that this event is designed to shed light on the project and its possible advantages for the community. He clarified that it is not a fundraising initiative; instead, it serves as a chance to discover how businesses in St. Stephen can prosper in conjunction with this development.

“I guess that’s the thought process we want to start through the open house is what does that look in the future, we don’t have an answer for that, we want businesses to be starting to think with us about that,” said Fulton.

Fulton said C1BI officials will share the building’s history, unveil conceptual plans, discuss youth programming, and engage in an open dialogue about the economic advantages this project could bring.
