Some New Brunswick drivers will see a break at the fuel pumps this week, according to an industry source.

The price for regular self-serve in the province is expected to drop by around two cents per litre.

Diesel users will see prices increase by around the same amount, according to the source.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.56 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.62 per litre for diesel and $1.33 per litre for home heating oil.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.51 to $1.55 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.59 and $1.63 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.59 per litre, diesel costs around $1.65 per litre and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.11 per litre.
