A man has died after losing control of his motorcycle in northwestern New Brunswick.

It happened on Route 108 near Davis Mills Road in Grand Falls around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

“The crash is believed to have occurred when the motorcycle lost control after driving on the shoulder of the road,” RCMP said in a news release.

The driver and lone occupant, a 47-year-old man from Saint-Léonard, died at the scene from his injuries.

An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man’s exact cause of death.
