A Fort Frances resident is facing charges following a serious collision earlier this year.
On January 6, the OPP responded to a serious collision on Highway 102 near Sistonens Corner between a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle.
The passenger of the car was ultimately treated for life-altering injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours following the collision, and anĀ OPP Technical Collision Reconstructionist was brought in to help with the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, the driver of the passenger motor vehicle, a 20-years-old Fort Frances resident has been arrested and is facing the following charges:
- Dangerous operation causing bodily harm
- Impaired operation causing bodily harm
The accused has been released from custody with a future court date.
