A water leak at Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney is impacting some services.
Nova Scotia Health says a pipe burst on the hospital’s third floor, resulting in a flood shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday.
Areas affected are some physician offices, an operating room, a prenatal clinic and staff training space on the third floor; some administration offices on the second floor, and some elevators 5, 6, 9 and 10.
Those areas will be closed. A repair timeline is to be determined.
The health authority says it will ensure impacted patients are notified and appointments are rebooked.
