The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is monitoring three separate COVID-19 outbreaks.

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center has an outbreak in the 2B Area.

St. Joseph’s Hospital is dealing with an outbreak in the 5 South Geriatric Assessment and Rehabilitative Care Area.

The final outbreak is outside of Thunder Bay at the Geraldton District Hospital in the John Owens Evans Residence.

Outbreaks are declared when respiratory or gastrointestinal symptoms increase among the patients.
