Area business get support from Heritage Fund

A boost from the Northern Ontario Heritage fund for two agricultural-related projects in the Rainy River District.

Cornell Veterinary Medicine Professional Corporation receives over $54,000 to create a mobile large-animal veterinary clinic.

The clinic will offer specialized services, such as embryo transfer and bull breeding exams to area beef producers.

Emo Feed Service will use $26,931 to expand operations and purchase equipment necessary to manufacture livestock feed.
