Thunder Bay’s Sweet North Bakery decides to close its doors at the Court Street location.
The Court Street store experienced flooding in early July, and they opened a third location on High Street North shortly after.
Announced in a Facebook post yesterday, owners Kris and Erinn DeLorenzi have decided not to renew their lease after ten years of business.
“This is an emotional time for us, a lot of dear memories were made there over the years,” they said in the post.
“This was a very difficult decision to make but we know it is the right one”.
The bakery is known for its soft pretzels and a wide selection of pastries and bread.
Their drive through at 802 Fort William Road and bake shop at 106 High Street will remain open.
