A 27-year-old man from L’Ardoise is facing attempted murder charges.
Richmond County RCMP say it was Monday morning at a home near Hwy 247.
He had threatened and assaulted a woman, known to him, outside with a knife.
The 33-year-old victim from Rockdale had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The suspect is facing these charges:
- Attempt to Commit Murder
- Assault Causing Bodily Harm
- Assault with a Weapon
- Uttering Threats
- Mischief
- Failure to Comply with an Undertaking
He appeared in court, was put back in custody and will reappear in court, August 26.
