A traffic stop has resulted in charges against two people.

OPP say they first noticed an open liquor inside a vehicle stopped in Fort Frances.

That led to a search, revealing unspecified amounts of cocaine and fentanyl.

A 39-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were charged with several offences, including drug trafficking and having an unauthorized weapon in their possession.

They were held in custody pending the outcome of court appearances on Monday.
