RCMP say they are investigating a homicide in the central New Brunswick community of Lower Hainesville.

Officers responded to a report of a sudden death at a residence on Central Hainesville Road around 8:20 a.m. Sunday.

“When police arrived at the scene, they located the body of a man in the driveway,” RCMP said in a news release on Monday.

Investigators have deemed the man’s death to be suspicious and are investigating it as a homicide.

Mounties have not released the identity of the man but say he is 39 years old. No arrests have been made.
