A big party in Frost Park to kick off Yarmouth Seafest.
The annual Children’s Parade and Mayor’s Picnic in Frost Park was held Friday afternoon, with hot dogs, cake and refreshments.
The musical group Hourglass helped start the festivities.
Mayor Pam Mood says it’s a time to come together as a community.
“There’s so much going on, the team put a fantastic Seafest together. We just hope that everyone is involved or at least watching what’s happening, it’s community 101,” said Mayor Mood.
Seafest activities continue Friday with the classic car cruise on Main Street.
