More than 50 iconic landmarks and buildings across the country will be illuminated to honour the Canadian Paralympic Team.

It is part of nationwide celebration marking 50 days to the Paralympic Games being held in Paris.

There are three landmarks here in Moncton: the Avenir Centre, Downing Street, and Downtown Place.

Illuminations will occur at or after sunset on Tuesday night.

The Paralympic Games begin on Aug. 28.
