A boil water advisory has been put into place in the Township of Emo.

The town says anyone who draws water from the municipal water distribution system is asked to boil their water before drinking it for a full minute.

Unscheduled repairs and upgrades are being made to the system, and the town says it can’t guarantee the safety of their drinking water supply.

The boil water advisory will remain in place until the town is able to rescind the notice.
