One of Centennial Park’s main features is out of commission.

The Muskeg Express has suffered a derailment before opening for the season.

The city had been inspecting and testing the attraction through the fall and spring and was anticipating the ride being ready for use this month.

The ride is expected to remain out of service for several weeks with the city planning to modify and test the ride to get it up and running.

The city plans to provide an update when the train is ready to resume service.
