ATVs, surveying equipment stolen from NB Power vehicle

Mounties are looking for any leads after two ATVs and three pieces of surveying equipment were stolen from an NB Power vehicle in Moncton.

The incident is believed to have happened while the vehicle was parked in a Mapleton Road hotel parking lot between 9 p.m. on May 8 and 7:25 a.m. on May 9.

The first ATV is described as a red 2012 Honda 500FM with New Brunswick licence plate XV2 729 and VIN #1HFTE3821C4001506.

The second ATV is a red 2013 Honda TRX 680FA also with New Brunswick licence plate XW0 977 and VIN #1HFTE332XD4800385.

Two Leica GS15 model surveyors were stolen, with serial numbers 1513385 and 1513465. A Leica TS15 model surveyor was also stolen with serial number 1619258.

Anyone who recognizes the ATVs or surveying equipment from the photos, or has information that could help further the investigation, is asked to contact RCMP at 506-857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
