A 52-year-old Eastern Passage man has been charged with child pornography offences.
RCMP say it is the second time, the suspect faced charges involving children in Nova Scotia.
Law officials searched a home May 30, in Eastern Passage after being notified by a social media platform that the man was transmitting child pornography.
Electronics were seized.
He was in court the next day and was put back into custody facing these charges:
- Failure to Comply with a Probation Order (two counts)
- Possession of Child Pornography (two counts)
- Accessing Child Pornography (two counts)
- Making Child Pornography
- Transmission of Child Pornography
- Failure to Comply with Order of Prohibition
The suspect will reappear in court June 17.
