Wasco Park Construction - (CJ Goater/Acadia Broadcasting)

Wasco Park is set for some modernization.

The playground at the park has been closed for replacement.

The new playground is designed to be more inclusive and contains accessible components.

During construction, most of the park will be closed off with construction fencing.

Installation, along with a new seating area is expected to be completed in June.

Timberland Park, at the end of Timberline Drive, and Valley Park on Valley Street are the closest alternative parks for use during construction.
