A portion of Oliver Road is set for a short closure for infrastructure work.

The work is starting on Tuesday and Oliver will be closed between Burwood Road and Conservation Road.

The road is scheduled to reopen by the end of the day on Wednesday.

During the closure, there will be no access to the Thunder Bay Expressway via Oliver Road but detour signs will be put up.

The city is asking drivers to avoid the area by taking an alternate route during the closure if possible.

Businesses between Burwood Road & Conservation Road will remain accessible to local traffic from Golf Links Road.
