A harness racer from Inverness is going to nationals.
Redmond Doucet won the Atlantic Regional Driving Championship in Charlottetown on Saturday night.
With the victory, the 42-year-old will take part in the National championships in Quebec this July.
He picked up 62 points over the eight races, getting by PEI’s David Dowling.
Doucet also opened the season with a victory at the Inverness Raceway Sunday afternoon.
He had 35 victories there last season.
