Bass championship seeks new directors

By Randy Thoms May 25, 2024 | 1:40 PM

An opportunity to be a part of the planning for this year’s Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship.

It is looking for five new directors.

Volunteer Coordinator Jeannette Cawston says they will take over from members who are making this year’s tournament their last.

“This is why there’s the urgency to get people on board for this year’s 29th tournament because they’ll be able to work right alongside these people and learn everything,” says Cawston.

The directors will be responsible for areas of volunteers, communications, logistics, bar services and finance.

Those interested are encouraged to contact Jeannette at 807-275-9229.

“They can talk to us about what type of things they’ve experienced before, if they’ve done any other volunteering, what kind of thing they’re looking for.  They could also send a brief statement of interest to my email, which is futuremoves@tbaytel.net.”
