The Sioux Lookout OPP say they have arrested one person in connection to a robbery.

The theft took play around 6 pm on Tuesday when officers responded to a call on Front Street.

A person had left a store with unpaid merchandise after an altercation with an employee and fled the area.

The suspect was located a short time later and arrested.

A 21 year old from the Sandy Lake First Nation has been charged with robbery and will appear in Sioux Lookout Court on July 9th.

The OPP say this is just the latest in a number of property related crimes they have solved in Sioux Lookout’s downtown.
