Meteghan RCMP have charged a man with firearms offences.
Police say on May 15th a man and woman who had driven the man to a local pharmacy reported that he had a firearm.
Shortly after, the drugstore was locked down and the man did not attempt to enter.
The suspect fled in a van but was arrested in Weymouth.
Police say he was not armed at the time of his arrest.
The 30-year-old man was remanded into custody and will appear in court Tuesday.
The 32-year-old man driving the van was arrested in Church Point and will face breach charges.
