Halifax police are investigating two shootings in Dartmouth over Victoria Day weekend.

At about 8 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to multiple reports of gunshots fired near Fader Street, according to a news release.

Officers found evidence of gunfire, including bullet marks on a vehicle parked on the road. No one was in the vehicle, and no injuries were reported, police say.

Witnesses saw a black compact style car drive away quickly, possibly a Kia Forte or a Hyundai Elantra, police say.

At about 10 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Booth and Fader streets.

However, officers did not find any evidence of shots fired, the release says. There were no reports of injuries or property damage.

Police continue to investigate.

If anyone has information that would help the investigation, police ask them to call 902-490-5020 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
