Parking meters vandalized in Saint John: police

The Saint John Police Force is appealing for witnesses after several uptown parking meters were vandalized.

Police reported 13 parking meters were damaged between 6 p.m. on May 9 and 3 p.m. on May 10.

Parking meters were damaged at the following locations:

  • Old-style meter #18 across from 115 Charlotte St.
  • Old-style meter #16 across from 115 Charlotte St.
  • Old-style meter #1 by 115 Charlotte St.
  • Double old-style meters #3 & #5 by 115 Charlotte St.
  • Double old-style meters #4 & #6 beside the Aquatic Centre on Union St.
  • Pay by plate meter #7265 by 106 Princess St.
  • Union Street near 76 Union, Meters #2, 12, 08, 10 and 18

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area who has dashcam or video footage of the incidents.
