Case pushed ahead for trio charged with first-degree murder of N.S. man

There is little movement in the case involving three men charged with first degree murder in the death of a South Shore man.

Barry Mosher was reported missing in August of 2022 and the 47-year-old’s body was found in Springfield a few months later.

Two of the accused appeared in court on Tuesday in Annapolis Royal with their lawyers, however the third is still seeking representation.

Thirty-two year old Derrick Robar, Kris Buttar, 44 and Alan Rankin, 43 are facing first-degree murder charges.

A fourth person, William Zinck, 25, is charged with being an accessory after the fact.

Prosecutors are still working on sharing evidence which they hope to have complete ahead of the next court date.

The matter will return to court July 15.
