The James Street Bridge will be temporarily closed on Tuesday for a watermain repair.

The bridge will be closed to all traffic traffic starting at 7 a.m., but the city is estimating that the closure will only last 24 hours.

During this time motorists and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution and expect traffic delays in the area.

An alternate route is available to motorists via Highway 61 and Chippewa Road.
