No injuries were reported in a fire on the weekend.

The blaze was reported Saturday night on Northern Avenue.

Upon arrival, fire crews discovered smoke and flames in the attic space on the second floor.

The building and it’s occupants were vacated.

Fire fighters concentrated on pulling down the cieling and extinguishing the blaze.

Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue says the displaced people were aided by the Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
