A man has been charged for an indecent act after urinating outside, near two childcare centres.

Police say it was Monday around 7:30 p.m., on Devonshire Avenue in Halifax, when officers responded to a disturbance call over two people arguing.

That conflict dissolved quickly, but while on scene, officers noticed the man.

The 29-year-old will be in court Wednesday to face charges of not only an indecent act but failing to comply with conditions of an order under the Sex Offender Information Registration Act.
