Southwest Storm fall in semifinal of Maritime tournament

The Southwest Storm fell 5-3 in the semifinal of the Maritime Junior C hockey championship in Miramichi.

They lost to New Brunswick’s Tri-County Rivercats in Saturday’s game.

The Storm went 0-4 at the tournament.

They got goals Saturday from Dylan Hatfield, Zach Darcy and Cole Nickerson.

Southwest finished the season as Nova Scotia champs for the third straight year.

They will host next year’s Maritime championship in Barrington.
