The Southwest Storm finished last at the Maritime Junior C hockey championship in Miramichi.

But they still have a shot to repeat as champions.

The Storm will take on the first-place Tri-County River-Cats in Saturday’s semifinal.

Southwest finished up the round-robin with a 6-3 loss to Pownal, PEI Friday night.

If they win Saturday’s game, they’d advance to the championship on Sunday against the winner of Pownal and the host Sunny Corner Thunder.
