A gala to celebrate volunteers, athletics, youth, business and community spirit.
A community awards ceremony was held in the Town of Riverview this week.
The Town has been recognizing its volunteers for the past 40 years. It asks groups to select their most deserving volunteers for the year and put their names forth.

The Jim DeWolfe Community Spirit Award is awarded to a Riverview resident, group, organization or business for their valued contributions to creating and strengthening the community. Robert Taylor was given the 2024 Jim DeWolfe Community Spirit Award.
In early 2024, Riverview residents also voted for their favourite local businesses.

- Best in Food & Beverage – Five Bridges Bar & Grill
- Business Longevity – The Homestead Restaurant
