Sea Dogs forward makes final NHL Central Scouting list

A Saint John Sea Dogs forward is one to keep an eye on ahead of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.

NHL Central Scouting has released its final list of the top prospects to watch leading up to the draft.

Eriks Mateiko is a potential second-round selection, ranked 33rd overall.

Mateiko recorded 23 goals and 20 assists in 49 regular-season games.

He is among 35 players from the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League who made the final list.

The NHL Entry Draft takes place in Vegas on June 28 and 29.
