Saint John police say a 25-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.

The man was taken into custody in Moncton last Thursday, police said in a news release on Wednesday.

The man is serving a sentence of more than three years and eight months for robbery, disguise with intent, possessing property obtained by crime over $5,000, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering a threat to cause death or harm, assaulting a peace officer, and escaping or being at large without excuse.
