Four people have been arrested in a drug trafficking investigation in southeastern New Brunswick, according to the RCMP.

Officers executed search warrants on Bon Secours Road in Saint-Paul and Enviro Road in Moncton last Wednesday.

They seized “significant quantities” of suspected cocaine, crystal meth, fentanyl, and various pills, along with drug paraphernalia, nearly 30,000 contraband cigarettes, three firearms, and money.

Mounties said they also recovered several stolen items related to other files, including a side-by-side, two utility trailers, license plates, and e-bikes.

Three men and a woman, ranging in age from 33 to 62 years old, were taken into custody in connection with the investigation.

A 49-year-old woman has been charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. She was remanded into custody and is due back in court on Wednesday.

A 33-year-old man has been charged with possessing a restricted weapon. He also remains in custody with his next court appearance set for Tuesday.

A 41-year-old man was turned over to the Halifax Regional Police due to having outstanding warrants in their jurisdiction. A 62-year-old man was released from custody.
