Eagles soar in front of sold out crowd in Sydney

The Cape Breton Eagles did not disappoint in front of a record breaking crowd in Sydney.

Nicolas Ruccia notched his first career shut out in a 4-0 victory over the Chicoutimi Saguenéens in Game 1 of the second round of the QMJHL playoffs.

Friday’s game had the highest attendance in Cape Breton Eagles history, with 4,922 fans watching.

Tickets for game two of the series on Saturday have also been sold out.
