The Southwest Storm couldn’t close out their Nova Scotia Regional Junior Hockey League final against East Hants.
The hometown Penguins got it done Friday night by a score of 5-3, cutting the Storm’s lead in the series to 3-2.
East Hants got out to a 2-0 lead, but the Storm tied in the third.
The Penguins would score the go-ahead goal with 5:35 left in the third.
Game 6 goes Saturday night in Barrington at 7 p.m.
The Storm have a chance to win their third straight league title on home-ice.
If necessary, a seventh game would be played back in East Hants on Sunday at 5 p.m.
