N.B. gas prices rise again

The maximum cost for regular self-serve jumped overnight to $1.85, which is an increase of 5.3 cents a litre.

Diesel users won’t notice much difference, because there aren’t any.  Diesel prices remained the same.

Furnace oil decreased by just point two cents.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.75 to $1.79 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.89 and $1.94 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.73 per litre, diesel costs around $1.90 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.37 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
