A group in Antigonish will get funding for healthcare recruitment.
The Arts Health Antigonish Society is getting $25,000 from the province to look for more childcare spaces for healthcare workers.
Health Minister Michelle Thompson says the availability of childcare is key for workers with young families.
Chair Dr. Elizabeth Brennan says they’re looking forward to the challenge, and she’s confident they’ll find solutions.
The society will help inform projects already underway to increase childcare spaces.
