By Kevin Northup Apr 8, 2024 | 10:02 AM

The Southwest Storm are a win away from another championship.

They shut out East Hants 3-0 Sunday to take a 3-1 series lead in the N.S. Regional Junior Hockey League final.

JJ MacPhee scored twice, Riley Hubbard opened the scoring, and Tyson Peters made 35 saves for the shutout.

This followed a 3-1 victory in Game 3 on Saturday night, where Caelen Wallace, Alex Swaine and JJ MacPhee had the goals.

Game 5 goes Friday in East Hants, if necessary a sixth game would be held in Barrington this Saturday.

The Storm are trying to win their third straight league championship.
