Decreases for fuel prices in N.B. this week

After several increases, gas prices are down on Friday morning.

The Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustment overnight.

The maximum cost for regular self-serve fell by 3.3 cents a litre to 179.9.

Diesel is down 3.1 cents to a maximum of 188.3, and furnace oil is down 3.8 cents a litre.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.72 to $1.76 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.88 and $1.92 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.73 per litre, diesel costs around $1.89 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.39 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
