Police have laid attempted murder charges against a man in Halifax.
Just after 12 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a disturbance at an apartment building on South Park Street and found a woman with life-threatening injuries.
She was taken to hospital.
Police arrested a 56-year-old man at the scene who is known to the victim.
He’s scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
