Police are now investigating a death in Dartmouth as a homicide.

Just after 7 a.m. Monday officers responded to report of a disturbance at an apartment building on Pinecrest Drive and found a man inside deceased.

They arrested a 47-year-old man, who was known to the victim, at the scene.

He was released without charges.

The medical examiner did an autopsy and has ruled the manner of death to be a homicide.

Investigators believe this was not a random incident and are not looking for additional suspects at this time.
