Tentative agreements between Nova Scotia Community College and the Atlantic Academic Union have been accepted.
According to Thursday night’s update from the college, a majority of union members voted to accept the tentative agreements reached by the bargaining teams.
Voter turnout was 88% with 91% of professional support and 86% of faculty voting to accept.
NSCC says the board of governors will meet to review these ratified agreements Friday.
The last-minute deal reached March 17th avoided what would have been the first strike in the history of the college.
